Troubleshooting AB Talent
What the messages in AB Talent mean and how to fix them, from missing access and empty balances to candidate mail, the directory and calendar bookings.
Writing to candidates, retention and erasure
How AB Talent emails candidates from your own mailbox, how long applications are kept, and how an HR admin keeps one longer or erases an applicant.
Offers in AB Talent
How an offer moves from Draft to Accepted in AB Talent, who can see the compensation on it, and what accepting does to the roster.
Interviews and scorecards
Arrange interviews in AB Talent, understand how the panel grants access to a candidate, book meetings in Outlook, and write scorecards without seeing anyone else's first.
Reading an AI screening
How AB Talent's AI screening reports on each requirement, how the Match score is calculated, and why it never moves a candidate.
Roles and the careers page
Post a role in AB Talent, write requirements that last, work candidates through the pipeline, and publish the role to a public careers page.
Time Off in AB Talent
How time off works in AB Talent: why everyone starts with zero days until HR grants them, how to request and cancel, how managers approve or decline, and how HR sets up kinds of time off and grants days.
Who Can See What in AB Talent
AB Talent shows each person only what their access allows. The seven kinds of access, how they combine, why even an HR admin doesn't see salaries by default, and how to change someone's access.
Setting Up AB Talent
How to set up AB Talent for your company: create the workspace, import your team from Microsoft 365, give people access, set up time off, choose the handbook, connect candidate mail, and what each colleague sees the first time they open it.
AB Talent: Overview
AB Talent runs hiring and people operations in one place: open roles and candidates, the roster, time off, attendance and an HR help desk. What each tab does, what the AI does and doesn't do, and what AB Talent leaves to other systems. The hub for every AB Talent help page.
Using AB in Microsoft 365 Copilot
AB Projects, AB Sales and AB Support each come with an agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot. How to open one, what to ask, why every change asks you to confirm first, and what to do when an agent seems to be missing something.
Approving an ActionBridge app for your organization (for IT administrators)
For IT administrators: what approving AB Projects, AB Sales, AB Support or AB Talent for your organization grants, permission by permission, who can approve it, and how to undo it.
Customer Satisfaction Surveys
After a ticket is resolved, AB Support can ask the customer how the support went — a 1–5 score and an optional comment, by email and in the chat widget. How to send one by hand or automatically, what customers see, and how to read CSAT on the dashboard.
Leads from Your Website Form or API
Point your website's download, demo or contact form at AB Sales and every submission becomes a lead — no sign-in, no backend. Covers the intake key, the HTML form snippet, the JSON API, what a repeat submission does, and what your visitor sees.
The AB Support Bot
The AB Support bot is for your team, not your customers — ask it a question and it answers from your desk's knowledge base with sources, check open tickets, see what is assigned to you, and pick the channel escalations land in.
Plans, Pricing, and Your Lead Allowance
AB Sales is priced by how many new leads you add, not by how many people use it. Your first 100 leads are free, a plan adds 1,000 new leads a month, and the allowance is shared across every workspace in your organization.
Your Personal Settings
Your personal AB Support settings — profile, language, timezone, and the opt-in ticket digest email — how they differ from a desk's admin-only settings, and why the digest has its own Save button.
AB Support Troubleshooting
Fixes for the most common AB Support snags — replies stopping altogether, no inquiry cards, email not syncing, the AI answering wrong, the web-chat widget not appearing, WhatsApp and SMS not arriving, and signing in on the web.
The Web Chat Widget
The AB Support web chat widget — a chat bubble you embed with one script tag. How to add it, preview it, its options, the 11 languages it speaks, how to brand it with your own color and launcher icon, and what visitors see.
AB Support Settings
Two things are called settings in AB Support: your personal settings (language, timezone, ticket digest) and a desk's admin-only settings (its name and icon, members, channels, statuses, knowledge sources, and its desk ID), reached from the gear inside the desk.
Knowledge Sources: How the AI Answers
The AI answers customers directly from the knowledge sources you point it at — this desk's own knowledge base, another workspace's wiki, or your own public help center — and cites them. It finds articles by meaning, so customers can ask in any language and still be answered from what you wrote.
AB Support: Overview
AB Support is AI-assisted customer service your team works from Microsoft Teams, Outlook or a web browser — customers reach you by web chat, email, forms, WhatsApp and SMS; tickets land in one queue. The hub for every AB Support help page.
My Pipeline and the Workspace Dashboard
AB Sales has two overview screens — My Pipeline (your personal cross-workspace cockpit in the Home tab) and the per-workspace Dashboard. What each shows.
Sending Email from AB Sales
How AB Sales sends email — in plain terms. It sends from your own company mailbox through Microsoft 365, set up once by your admin. Covers the sending identity, choosing a mailbox, templates, campaigns, AI-drafted replies, and deliverability.
CRM Settings
Everything on the CRM Settings page — the workspace currency, the mailbox it sends from, the intake key for your website form and API, the material the AI writes with, and your labels. Automation, the daily email cap, the notification channel and templates now live on the Agents page. Everyone can see settings; only Owners and Admins can change them.
Agents: CRM Automation
The Agent is the automation engine that finds missing websites, extracts contact emails, sends your campaign emails, and drafts AI replies when leads respond — on a 5-minute timer, with strict verification, human review, and daily caps. This article covers each stage, how to pause, and how to opt out a single lead.
Opportunities
An Opportunity is a specific deal in AB Sales — an amount, a close date, and a stage. Win it to convert a lead to a customer, or to auto-create an order if it's already on one.
Leads: Capturing and Qualifying Prospects
A Lead is a prospect you haven't yet established a relationship with. This article covers the status pipeline (New, Information filled, Contacted, Qualified, Disqualified), how the AI Get URL button works, and how leads get created — typed in, imported from CSV, or sent from your own website form or API.
Customers
A Customer is an established account in AB Sales — usually converted from a won lead. Customers carry multiple Contacts and Opportunities and can be archived without losing history.

MCP Tools Reference
All 62 MCP tools ActionBridge gives AI assistants — ab_* for AB Projects (tasks with overdue counts, time logging, schedule, Documents with keyword search, project statuses and types), ab_crm_* for AB Sales (leads, labels, opportunities, activities, email), and ab_support_* for AB Support (tickets, triage, draft replies, and the knowledge base the desk's AI answers from) — plus the slash-command prompts, resource feeds, which tools need a license, and which writes post a Microsoft Teams card.
AI Support Features in AB Projects
Every AI capability in AB Projects today: dashboard greeting, task summary, suggested subtasks, task extraction from meeting recordings, the Teams bot's commands and conversational answers, the digest's Today's focus note, and MCP assistants — all clearly disclosed, none acting without you.
Why AB Projects Requires Microsoft Graph Permissions
Every permission AB Projects asks for, mapped to the feature it powers: organization-wide Microsoft Graph permissions an administrator consents to in Entra ID (mostly delegated), and the team permissions a team owner accepts per team, including the 2.4.0 one that lets thread replies sync to tasks.
Managing Subscriptions, Billing & Licenses
How AB Projects pricing and licensing work: a free tier (first 10 active users per tenant) and a Basic plan ($3 per active user / month) purchased on Microsoft AppSource — including the activation page, assigning seats in Settings → Manage licenses, subscription status and history, free trials, and exactly what happens when you cancel or reduce seats.
Notification Preferences
How to control what AB Projects sends you: the personal task digest in Settings, per-task deadline reminders, following tasks with the in-app notification bell, and the project-wide Teams channel notification toggles for owners and admins.
Daily Digest and AI Assistance
The AB Projects daily digest is sent to you, not written by you: up to 10 open tasks by due date, on the weekdays and time you set, by email and/or Teams — plus per-task deadline reminders and the AI assists you use during the day.
Managing Project Settings
A tour of the AB Projects project settings page: identity, members, Teams channel notification toggles, GitHub integration, task workflow options, the Teams link, ownership transfer, leaving, and the unlink-before-delete rule.
Role-Based Access Control
The four project roles in AB Projects — Owner, Admin, Member, and Viewer — what each can do, how roles are changed, the guardrails around ownership and the last Admin, and how the read-only Viewer role differs from having no license seat.
Adding or Removing Members
How people join and leave an AB Projects project: the linked Teams channel is the roster — auto-sync adds the whole channel, the Team page invite covers stragglers, and removing someone for good means removing them from the channel too.
Task Statuses and Workflows
Manage task workflow in AB Projects by changing status, updating progress, completing tasks, and reviewing work by status in Kanban view.
