Joining and leaving
How AB Talent builds onboarding and leaving checklists as tasks, why a departure has three dates, and how the payroll handoff, licence seats and holdings work.
The roster and org chart
How AB Talent keeps employment facts as a dated history with reasons, what Microsoft 365 owns, and how the org chart, leavers and archiving work.
Writing to candidates, retention and erasure
How AB Talent emails candidates from your own mailbox, how long applications are kept, and how an HR admin keeps one longer or erases an applicant.
Offers in AB Talent
How an offer moves from Draft to Accepted in AB Talent, who can see the compensation on it, and what accepting does to the roster.
Interviews and scorecards
Arrange interviews in AB Talent, understand how the panel grants access to a candidate, book meetings in Outlook, and write scorecards without seeing anyone else's first.
Roles and the careers page
Post a role in AB Talent, write requirements that last, work candidates through the pipeline, and publish the role to a public careers page.
AB Talent: Overview
AB Talent runs hiring and people operations in one place: open roles and candidates, the roster, time off, attendance and an HR help desk. What each tab does, what the AI does and doesn't do, and what AB Talent leaves to other systems. The hub for every AB Talent help page.
Filtering Tasks and Saved Filters
How task filters work in AB Projects: every condition the filter panel offers, saving a filter set you reuse, sharing a filtered view as a link, and why filters stick between visits.
Working the Ticket Queue
How to scan, filter, and work the AB Support ticket queue: new tickets appearing on their own, the inbox row signals, compact rows, long queues, quick filters and sort, saved filters, keyboard triage, Next ticket after resolving, and bulk actions.
Support Desks: Your AB Support Workspace
A desk is your AB Support workspace — its own tickets, customers and settings, independent of AB Projects and AB Sales. The two ways to create one, how to choose, and how to open it from Teams, Outlook or the web.
How a Support Ticket Works
How an AB Support ticket works: the AI answers first and holds the ticket until it hands off to a human; plus the Needs a reply / Waiting on customer / Finished status categories, the suggested reply (including drafts from AI assistants), internal notes, the activity timeline, resolve reasons and Next ticket, and undelivered replies.
Labels: Tagging and Segmenting Leads
Labels are colored tags you attach to leads to segment your pipeline by temperature, size, or industry. Every workspace ships with a default set, the AI can auto-apply them, and you can filter and group by label.
CRM Settings
Everything on the CRM Settings page — the workspace currency, the mailbox it sends from, the intake key for your website form and API, the material the AI writes with, and your labels. Automation, the daily email cap, the notification channel and templates now live on the Agents page. Everyone can see settings; only Owners and Admins can change them.
Customers
A Customer is an established account in AB Sales — usually converted from a won lead. Customers carry multiple Contacts and Opportunities and can be archived without losing history.
Managing Project Settings
A tour of the AB Projects project settings page: identity, members, Teams channel notification toggles, GitHub integration, task workflow options, the Teams link, ownership transfer, leaving, and the unlink-before-delete rule.
