Managing Subscriptions & Billing
AB Projects is priced per active user with a free tier to start. Access itself is through your Microsoft 365 account (Microsoft SSO) and the Teams channel your project is linked to — there is no separate Microsoft 365 add-on license to assign.
Plans
- Free — $0. For evaluation, pilots, and small teams. Up to 10 users, task and project management, Microsoft Teams integration, basic collaboration, community support.
- Team — $5 per active user / month. For growing teams. Unlimited projects and tasks, comments and collaboration, activity history and task visibility, notifications and workflow support, email support.
- Business — $10 per active user / month. For broader rollout, with additional control, visibility, and support on top of Team.
- Enterprise — custom. For larger organizations needing advanced governance, deployment, security, or integration support, with SLA options.
Billing is based on active users, so you can start small (or free) and expand as adoption grows. The current plans, the full feature comparison, and any trial terms are always on the pricing page at actionbridge.io/pricing — it is the source of truth if anything here differs.
How access works
- Sign-in is automatic with your Microsoft 365 identity (Microsoft SSO). There is no "AB Projects" license to assign in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- You become a project member by being in the connected Teams channel; the roster syncs automatically (see Becoming a Project Member in AB Projects).
- A project's plan governs limits and capabilities (for example, the Free tier's 10-user limit) rather than per-user license assignment.
Starting or changing a plan
- To start free, upgrade, or discuss Enterprise terms, use Contact / Talk to Sales on the pricing page, or contact our team.
- Invoice billing, regional pricing, reseller, and private licensing arrangements are available for larger teams — ask via the same channels.
Tips
- Pilot on the Free tier (up to 10 users) before committing to a paid plan.
- Because pricing is per active user, rolling out one team at a time keeps cost aligned with real usage.
