AB Sales can email a lead directly — a one-off message you type, or an automated first-touch the Agent sends for you. This page explains who the email actually comes from, because that surprises people.
Email is sent from your mailbox, not ours
AB Sales does not send from an ActionBridge address. It sends through Microsoft Graph, from a mailbox in your own Microsoft 365 tenant. So:
- Recipients see your company's domain in the From line.
- Replies land in your inbox, not ours.
- Sent items and sending limits live in your tenant.
Mail.Send application permission. A tenant admin grants consent once; after that AB Sales may send on behalf of the single mailbox you nominate. It is not delegated access to everyone's mail — it's scoped to the sender you configure.Choose the sending mailbox
In CRM Settings you point AB Sales at one of two sender types in your tenant:
| Sender type | Example | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Shared mailbox | sales@yourcompany.com | You want replies in a shared inbox the whole team sees. Recommended |
| User principal | alice@yourcompany.com | Replies should go to one person's inbox. |
You also set your Tenant ID and pick Graph as the mail provider. The app-registration credentials themselves (client ID + secret) are configured by your administrator at the hosting level — never stored in the CRM database.
Two ways to send
Manually
Open a lead → Send email. Pick a template or write ad-hoc, review, send. The lead moves to Contacted.
Automatically
The Agent sends the org's default template to eligible leads on its timer, respecting your daily cap. See Agents.
Templates
Templates have a subject and an HTML body with {{LeadName}}-style placeholders that are filled per recipient. Manage them in CRM Settings.
