Since 1.703.0, the AB Projects task page has been rebuilt around what you can actually click, AB Sales has finished its move into every language we ship, and the top bar finally tells you which project you are looking at.
A task page that behaves
A full review of the web experience turned up a long list of small betrayals — controls that looked editable and were not, panels that opened onto nothing. This release closes them.
- “Close Task” is now “Delete Task” — it always deleted the task. Now it says so, and asks first.
- Every chip opens its panel. Progress and assignee are editable where they are shown, and a chip whose panel is not there no longer appears at all.
- Dates hold up. Due dates survive narrow screens, compact dates carry the year, and “due today” no longer reads the same as overdue.
- The board explains itself. Kanban says why a card will not drag, and the Gantt opens where the work is instead of always on today.
- New projects arrive ready. The default workflow is now seeded however the project was created — web, Microsoft Teams tab, or API.
Knowing where you are
The web top bar is now built around your project rather than the product, reading Projects → PROJECT NAME so a glance is enough. Opening a workspace that belongs to another product now takes you to that product instead of showing an empty page, and the bar keeps its shape on a phone rather than pushing Settings off the screen.
AB Sales, in your language
The CRM is now fully localized — Leads, Opportunities, Customers, Contacts, My Pipeline, the dashboard, Settings and Agents. Stored values such as status and stage render in the reader’s language rather than the writer’s, so a pipeline no longer shows two languages in a single line.
AB Projects gained the same idea for task history: an entry written in Japanese now reads in English for an English colleague, and the other way round, instead of staying frozen in the author’s language.
Numbers you can trust
- Opportunities in different currencies are no longer added together into a meaningless total.
- Lead exports now include every lead and remove duplicates, instead of covering one phase.
- Two different lead counts on the dashboard agreed to stop contradicting each other.
- AI contact research will not save a contact that belongs to another company’s domain.
Teams, AI, and the quiet fixes
- Plain thread replies reach the bot. A new channel permission is requested when the app is installed or updated.
- Better AI. Every user-facing assistant has moved off the older model, and a failure now says what went wrong rather than making a joke of it.
- Honest reporting. When a post to Microsoft Teams produces nothing, you are told why instead of being shown a cheerful “OK”.
- Accessibility. Pages have real titles, the task has a heading, errors are announced to screen readers, and badge colours are readable.
As always, AB Projects updates automatically — nothing to install. If anything looks off after the new version lands for you, the team is only a message away.
