Since 1.684.0, AB Sales campaigns have grown from a single first-touch into real multi-step sequences, the Opportunities page has been rebuilt around a pipeline summary you can actually read, and AB Projects now brings your Microsoft Teams channel members into a project on its own.
Campaigns that follow up
1.684.0 introduced campaigns. This release makes the whole sequence run.
- Follow-up steps now send. Previously only the first email in a sequence went out and the drip stopped there. Step 2 and beyond now go out on schedule — and only if the lead hasn’t replied since the last send.
- Build sequences visually. The Campaigns card on the Agents tab lets you name a campaign, order its steps, and set how many days to wait between each one.
- Choose who enters. Entry filters match on labels, status, source or industry — so a Japanese-language sequence reaches only the leads you’ve labelled for it. Priority decides which campaign wins when a lead matches several.
- Write the emails in place. The outbound template editor gained a Design, HTML and Preview toggle, so you can see the message the way the recipient will.
A pipeline you can read at a glance
- The Opportunities page has been rebuilt — a pipeline summary on the left, a searchable and filterable list on the right. Searching the list never moves the summary numbers.
- The forecast chart works. It previously rendered an empty chart no matter how many deals you had.
- Pick your horizon. Choose a 3, 6, 9 or 12 month forecast. The chart also carries the last three months, so a deal you closed recently stays on screen instead of disappearing the moment the month turns.
- One currency per workspace. Set it once in CRM Settings and new products, opportunities and deals follow it — and every amount now shows its own currency symbol rather than a hardcoded one.
AB Projects: channel members join automatically
- Install AB Projects in a Microsoft Teams channel and the channel’s members become project members. It also picks up people who join the channel later.
- Private and shared channels stay private. Membership is read from the channel itself rather than the whole team, so a private channel’s project no longer includes people who were never in that channel.
- A one-click permission request for admins. If Microsoft 365 hasn’t granted AB Projects permission to read your channel members, the project now says so and offers your administrator a single link to approve it — instead of quietly adding nobody.
New reading: the AI Contact Center Handbook
- A new tutorial series on customer experience in the age of agentic AI — twelve chapters plus appendices, free to read.
- Ask questions as you read. The LLM tutorial series gained a Q&A, and chapter cards are now clickable across the whole card rather than just the title.
AB Support
- A friendlier chat bubble. The support widget now opens with the robot mascot.
As always, AB Projects and AB Sales update automatically — nothing to install. If anything looks off after the new version lands for you, the team is only a message away.
