AB Sales is now available for everyone
AB Sales, the CRM that lives where your sales conversations already happen, is now listed on the Microsoft marketplace and open to every team. Track leads, customers, opportunities, and activities; watch your pipeline move; and let the built-in AI assistant capture updates straight from your Microsoft Teams channels — the same channel-first, notification-driven approach you know from AB Projects.
- Install from the marketplace — AB Sales for Microsoft Teams.
- Separate but family — AB Sales is its own app with its own data; nothing mixes with your AB Projects workspaces.
- The AB Sales interface currently ships in English; more languages are on the way.
One home for the AB family on the web
Signing in on the web now lands you on the new AB home — one page with a tile for each product you use: AB Projects with your project count, AB Sales, and a preview of what’s coming next. A slim family bar at the top of every web page lets you hop between AB home, Projects, and Sales without hunting for URLs. Registration stays where it belongs — in Microsoft Teams, where the notifications live — and the web is your second screen once you’re aboard.
Filters, rebuilt around presets
The Tasks page filter went through its biggest overhaul yet. The goal: 90% of filter work should finish without ever opening the filter panel.
- Saved filter presets — name your current filter set and it becomes a one-tap chip above the list. The active preset is highlighted, and the moment you change anything by hand the highlight lets go. Saving under the same name updates the preset in place.
- Active-filter chips — the old always-on banner is gone. What you see now is exactly what’s filtering: one chip per condition, each with its own ×, plus Clear all, a live task count, and a badge on the funnel button so a filtered list is never mistaken for the full one.
- A panel you can actually scan — the filter panel is grouped into People, Attributes, Dates, and Advanced sections with per-section counts and one-click clears. A sticky footer keeps the result count, Clear all, and save-as-preset in reach at any scroll depth. Sort moved out to the toolbar — it reorders, it doesn’t filter.
- Dates that never go stale — choose Overdue, Today, This week, Next 7 days, or Last 30 days instead of fixed dates. A preset saved as “due this week” still means this week next month. The people filters gain a Me option that always means whoever applies it.
- Shareable filtered views — copy a link to your current view and drop it in a channel; whoever opens it sees the list filtered exactly the same way. Relative dates and Me travel with it, so the link stays correct over time and across teammates.
- Built for phones — on small screens the filter panel opens as a full-screen sheet, date ranges stack vertically, and every tap target is sized for thumbs. The preset chips scroll sideways in a single row — on mobile, they are the filter UI.
Fixes worth noting
- The “Filters applied” summary used to show internal IDs for multi-select filters — it now always shows names.
- The upper bound of the “Updated date” filter was never being saved; it is now.
- Images posted in task comments no longer overflow the comment width.
