Since 1.355.85, most of the work has been under the hood — making AB Projects smarter with AI, quicker to react, and steadier inside Microsoft Teams. Here’s what’s new.
Your AI assistant can do more
Assistants connected over MCP (Model Context Protocol) can now set start dates, due dates, and time estimates when they update a task — not just titles and status. Connecting is easier too: the MCP server ships its own usage instructions, and linking up through the ChatGPT app is now a click away from the homepage and the /mcp page. That page also has a new animated walkthrough — prompt → tool call → result — so you can see exactly how an AI agent works with your tasks.
Tasks update live
When an AI agent, the bot, or a teammate changes a task, the app now updates in real time — no refresh needed. What you see always reflects the latest state.
Smarter daily reminders
The task reminder email was fixed and refreshed: working links straight to each task, a cleaner card layout, and a new AI “Today’s focus” summary that points out what to tackle first and flags overdue pile-ups.
A more reliable Teams bot
- Mentions just work — @AB Projects in a channel is no longer occasionally dropped, and the bot replies to channel greetings even when Microsoft Teams omits the mention.
- Reachable from install — the bot can send proactive messages right after it’s added, not only after the first @mention, and it self-heals stale connections instead of going quiet.
- Right language — for new users, the bot replies in English when it can’t determine your language, rather than guessing wrong.
Better on mobile and big projects
- The Tasks page and dashboard fit cleanly on phones — no more cut-off toolbars or buttons.
- The bot’s task list is redesigned as clean, mobile-friendly cards instead of a wide table that truncated.
- Large projects show many more tasks at once, so parent tasks and sub-tasks display correctly even with hundreds of them.

Behind-the-scenes reliability fixes, localization updates across languages, and the usual under-the-hood improvements.
