Since 1.1159.0, the AI assistants that work with AB — the AB agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Claude, ChatGPT and others connected over MCP — answer the questions people actually ask more accurately. “What’s overdue?” comes back with a real count. “Find our onboarding page” searches every project. And in AB Support, you can now ask your assistant what the desk’s AI tells customers, and fix the article when it’s wrong.
AB Projects
- “What’s overdue?” gets the real number. Assistants can now ask for exactly your overdue tasks, those due today, or those due this week, judged by the day it is where you are. The answer always opens with the true totals — “12 of your 40 open tasks are overdue, 3 are due today” — even when it only lists the first few, and each task names its project.
- Find a document by what it’s about. Asking for “our wiki page about onboarding” now searches the Documents of every project you’re in, title first, and opens the best match. Japanese and Chinese work without spaces.
- Confirmations you can actually check. Before a change, Microsoft 365 Copilot asks you to confirm it. That card now says what will happen in plain words and shows a status as “In Progress” rather than a long ID. An assistant that uses a status the project doesn’t have is told the project’s own list instead of saving it.
- “Next Friday” is confirmed before it’s saved. When you give a date like “next Friday” or “in two weeks”, the assistant tells you the calendar date and weekday it worked out and waits for your yes. What it saves as your reason is your own words.
- Tasks land on the board. A task an assistant creates without a status now starts in the project’s first open column instead of none, and asking about a task by its ID (“demo00113”) finds it straight away.
- Cleaner replies. After a change, the assistant says in one line whether your team was told in Microsoft Teams, without the technical IDs it used to show.
AB Sales
- A company is found even after its lead was archived. Searching for a lead or customer by name now also lists archived matches, clearly marked, when nothing active matches — so “what do we know about Fabrikam?” reaches the lead behind a deal that’s still open.
- Deals point to their lead or customer, and say when they’re late. Each opportunity an assistant reads now carries its parent’s ID, and an open deal whose expected close date has passed is marked as past due.
AB Support
- Manage the knowledge base from your assistant. Ask “what does our knowledge base say about refunds?” and the assistant searches it the way the desk’s AI does — by meaning, in any language — and shows which article an answer would come from. It can add an article, or correct one: it reads the article first, keeps the earlier version, and saves your reason. Every change is shown to you to confirm before it’s saved, and goes live for customers within minutes. See Knowledge Sources.
- No repeating an answer the customer already has. When the last message a customer saw was already a reply from your desk, the assistant says so and asks what a new reply should add, instead of drafting the same answer again.
- Notes and drafts no longer cancel each other out. Adding an internal note while a reply is being drafted used to be able to wipe the draft. Both are now kept.

As always, AB Projects, AB Sales and AB Support update automatically — nothing to install. If anything looks off after the new version lands for you, the team is only a message away.
