Since 1.1000.0, AB Support can ask a customer how the support went once their ticket is resolved, and adds the answers up to a CSAT score on the dashboard. Its reply emails now say who wrote them and come back to the same ticket. In AB Projects, the Team page shows what each person is working on and how many hours the project has taken and has left, built on a new time log on every task — and AI assistants can log time too.
AB Support: ask customers how it went
Once a ticket is resolved, the customer can be asked for a score from 1 to 5 and, if they like, a comment. Their answer shows on the ticket and adds up on the dashboard.
- By hand or automatically. Press Send survey on a resolved ticket, or have a desk admin turn on automatic sending in Settings → Satisfaction survey, with a wait of up to a day. It is off until someone turns it on, and turning it on never emails customers whose tickets were resolved before.
- From your own mailbox. Email, web form and web chat tickets get the survey from the desk’s support address, signed with the desk’s name. A chat visitor who still has the chat open sees the same survey as a card in the conversation.
- Only a real answer counts. Clicking a score in the email opens a page with it already picked; the answer is recorded when the customer presses Send. Company mail filters that open every link to check it can’t leave scores nobody gave.
- Customer satisfaction on the dashboard. CSAT (the share of answers scoring 4 or 5), Responses and Response rate over the last 30 days. A survey that never reached the customer isn’t counted against the response rate, and a tile with nothing to count shows “—”, not 0%.
- Free. Sending and answering a survey costs no customer transactions and no AI credits.
Which channels can be surveyed, and what the customer sees, is in Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
AB Support: reply emails that read like your company wrote them
- Signed. An agent’s reply is signed with their name and the desk’s; an AI answer by the desk alone. A line underneath says that replying continues the conversation, and the customer’s own message is quoted below it.
- Replies come back to the same ticket. Every reply carries a short ticket reference in its subject, so a customer who wrote through the contact form and presses Reply lands on their ticket instead of opening a new one.
- A failed send says so. If the mailbox refuses to send, the reply is marked Not delivered with the reason, instead of looking sent while the customer got nothing.
- Long emails arrive whole. Customer emails were cut off after 255 characters. The full message now arrives, without the quoted thread underneath.
AB Projects: the Team page shows the work — and the hours
The Team page used to show who was on the project. It now answers what each person is working on, what they have finished, and how many hours the project has taken.
- Each person’s work. Every member card counts Open, In progress, Overdue, Due this week, Done this week and Done this month. Open the counts for the tasks themselves, overdue first, each one a link.
- Activity, not just assignments. A 28-day strip on each card shows the changes a person made — task updates, comments, wiki edits — so reviewing and helping on other people’s tasks shows up too.
- Project hours. A panel above the cards shows time spent this week, this month and to date, the remaining work on open tasks, a forecast total, how finished work compared with its estimates, and the last eight weeks of logged time. Every figure says how much of the work is estimated, and unestimated work is never counted as zero.
AB Projects: log time on a task
- Log time. The task page has a Time panel where Log time records how long you worked and on which day. Every entry is kept; a mistake is fixed with the pencil beside the entry (Correct this entry) and a reason, so the record is never rewritten. Time already entered on a task carries over.
- Estimates start blank. New tasks used to get a 1-hour estimate nobody chose, which made planned work look precise when it wasn’t. Blank now means Not estimated.
- Re-estimate what’s left. Remaining work follows the estimate minus the time logged, or you can re-estimate it — with a reason, which goes in the change log.
AB Projects: subtasks and statuses agree
- A parent’s status follows its subtasks. When the last subtask completes, the parent moves to a closing status; when one reopens, the parent goes back — and the parent’s change log says so.
- A closing status completes the task, wherever it is set. Choosing a status marked complete from the web, the API or an AI assistant now completes the task, not only from the status panel.
- Done this week counts completions. The dashboard’s Done this week and Done this month counted tasks that were edited while complete; they now count tasks completed in that period.
AI assistants over MCP
The new ab_log_time records time you spent on a task, marked as logged by AI. ab_update_task can re-estimate remaining work (remaining_hours, with the reason in note) and let a parent’s dates follow its subtasks. The MCP server now has 56 tools (actionbridge.io/mcp).
The quiet fixes
- Saving no longer hangs when you change a task’s assignee or @mention a colleague in a comment.
- Mentions reach Microsoft Teams from the create panel and from the bot, not only from comments.
- The daily reminder names the project beside each task, so a list drawn from several projects makes sense.
- The Team page speaks your language like the rest of AB Projects, and Medium priority is called Medium everywhere.
- Back where you were after signing in — the page you asked for, not the hub.
- No more “Create your first project” flashing at people who already have projects.
- AB Sales keeps every email. Messages with very large bodies were dropped by the mailbox sync, and one bad message could stall it; both are fixed.
- Grant admin consent works from inside Teams in AB Support settings; it opens in its own window, as Microsoft’s sign-in page requires.
- The AB Projects bot’s diagnostics no longer keep the text of channel messages, names or card values.
As always, AB Projects, AB Sales and AB Support update automatically — nothing to install. If anything looks off after the new version lands for you, the team is only a message away.
